so here he/she is! baby #2...i'm 17 weeks along and loving this trimester! i can feel this little life in me move around and it's so reassuring! i don't have much to write, so i think i'm going to share my top four stories involving elise and her new baby brother/sister:
1. elise lifting my shirt up and getting very close to my belly button with her eye. i asked, "elise what are you doing?" she replied, "mommy, shhhh, i can see baby - be quiet mommy b/c that baby is sleeping."
2. elise enjoys what we call "baby massage" - meaning after her bath we apply lotion to her. so the other night after her bath i told her it was time for "baby massage". she said to me, "hold on mommy, i be right back k?" she ran off to the other room and came back w/ lotion from my bathroom. she proceeded to lift up my shirt again and rub lotion all over my belly. she wanted to give baby #2 a massage. loved it!
3. joe and i were showing elise the pictures from the ultrasound...elise responded, "ooohhhh that baby in the belly is scary - ARGH!"
4. elise going up to the administrative assistant at our school and lifting up her shirt and demanding to see her baby in belly....this was funny and also humiliating!
