double the curls

so it's been awhile and life isn't slowing down at any rate, but it has stopped enough tonight that i can post some new pictures of the girls and do a quick update. since we've been back in wv from our trip to illinois over the holiday life has been in full swing! i'm in my last semester of school!!! there is a light at the end of the tunnel, which is definitely needed b/c next to my internship this is by far my toughest semester! joe has turned in his tenure application....we have to wait until may to find out if he gets tenure, or not! so if all goes as planned may is going to be quite the celebratory month! joe is also preparing to head off to chicago to be a guest lecturer at a conference - which is also v. exciting. as for the girls they are growing like weeds! we are having the best time watching them play with each other. it's amazing to watch them both learn and discover new things! elise just discovered that girls can get their hair cut just like boys. she also took a taekwando class, which was quite possibly the hardest joe and i have laughed in a long time! we decided that tap dance might be better suited for her at this time, so taekwando is on hold (however, elise continues to pull out some moves every now and then). olivia is crawling all over the place - we can't take our eyes off her for one second! she is blowing kisses, clapping, waving and laughing all the time! her laugh is the best medicine for a bad day - her nose crinkles, she snorts and she shows off her beaver-like teeth! needless to say we're totally in love. liv also loves sinking her teeth into anything around - especially an apple. enjoy the pictures of elise's first haircut at a salon, and liv being liv, and our favorite new tent!
oh yeah - we're also putting our house on the market so keep your fingers crossed!!!
